Green Valley Christian School is a special place for you and your child. We know that leaving your child in a new place is quite an adjustment, but we want you to know that you are welcome to call or visit during the day to check on your child. History of GVCPS

Green Valley Christian Center´s founder and Senior Pastor, Gary Morefield, had a vision for a Christian Preschool. After much prayer by the pastors and board members, everyone could clearly see God moving Green Valley Christian Center to sponsor a Christian Preschool ministry. The Preschool was started in February 1990, and has achieved an excellent reputation in the Las Vegas valley.

The parents enjoyed the excellence of the preschool and wanted that same standard for their children entering Kindergarten. Much time and research was required to develop a Christian school with a high standard of excellence in education and spiritual guidance. In 1993 Green Valley Christian Center established the next phase of Christian Education by offering Kindergarten and increasing a grade level each year. We now serve students to 7th grade.

Our Goal

It is our passionate goal to be the best Christian school in the United States. This is at the heart of every policy we make and every program that we offer. We believe this goal is completely attainable over the next few years as we continually strive to be the best. It is our goal to provide a loving, nurturing, academic, and spiritual environment that would challenge our students to achieve their academic best, as well as to be spiritually and emotionally maturing at an advanced pace. In order for us to achieve this goal, it is imperative for us to set the right foundation with our preschool students, and continuing on with our elementary school students, providing the best Christian school in the nation.
